Sub-Arc / Micro Welding

Metalock Railways

Cracks in various machine parts made of steel and steel casting are generally repaired by locking, grinding or milling (on-site) and then welded by following the suppliers’ specifications. The most widely used welding process for such work is the manual arc welding method. During and after welding, additional heat treatments are generally needed. All well-established welding procedures currently used can be carried out in our workshop or on location using our High Technology welding processes such as: Sub-Arc, Micro, Tig, Mig, Arc, Fusion and Gas.

Heat Treatments

We perform heat treatments in the widest variety of forms and sizes. A heat treatment can be implemented in stationary furnaces or directly at the location of the customer with mobile heat treating equipment.
